Remixes

Arminful makes Persian remixes and electronic remixes for the dance floor. Each remix is clearly labelled. No official affiliation with an original artist is claimed unless the credits say so.

About Arminful's remixes

These are Arminful's remixes: new versions of songs by other artists, rebuilt for the dance floor. Each one keeps the original vocal or melody at its centre and changes the beat, the energy and the arrangement around it. Rights to the original vocals and compositions stay with their owners, and every popup names the original where it is known.

Several of the remixes are Baile versions. The remix of Mano Del by Black Cats was rebuilt from the ground up with a Baile inspired beat while keeping the original vocals, and the remix of Parandeh by Martik is a Baile version too. Persian Road goes the other way: it blends the nostalgic feel of traditional Persian vocals with a modern electronic sound, inspired by late night drives. Dokhtar Koli is a remix of the song made by Marzieh and later sung again by Anita Shahriari.

Open any remix to see the cover, the release date and where it is streaming. New remixes appear here automatically once they are published on SoundCloud, and links to other platforms are added as they are found.

Remixes like these are a big part of Arminful's DJ sets at Persian parties, weddings and club nights in Oslo, where a room often wants Persian songs it knows played with a modern beat.

Styles in the remixes

  • Persian Remixes: Persian records carried into modern dance floor contexts
  • Baile: Baile funk energy built for packed rooms
  • Electronic reworks of Persian vocals and pop songs
